Dr. Hollie MacDonald
Sr. Researcher/Data Analyst Dr. Hollie MacDonald is an Assistant Professor of Criminology and Criminal Justice Studies at Longwood University in Farmville, Virginia for the past 6 years. Her research and teaching interests are informed by her interdisciplinary training focusing on constitutional law violations within justice systems, the effectiveness of correctional programs and services, justice-related outcomes-based evaluations, and the impact of public policies on underserved and marginalized groups. Her research aims to measure and enhance efficiency and effectiveness in policy and program implementation, improve accountability of criminal justice practitioners and policymakers, and promote equity and justice for all. |
Dr. MacDonald is serving as a data analyst, using her strong quantitative data analysis skills to support systems change. She has an excellent background in theory and methods. Hollie has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice, a Master of Science degree in Criminal Justice Studies, and a PhD in Public Policy and Public Administration with a concentration in Criminal Justice Policy.
