Judith Elise Rosenberg, MSW
Senior Consultant - Strategic Planning & Training Judith Elise Rosenberg is a master trainer/ consultant and strategic planning expert who has developed and provided training and technical assistance to diverse audiences for over 35 years. She has worked throughout the United States and Latin America and has trained thousands of participants in the areas of child abuse prevention, community health promotion, mental health, peer support, team building, effective communication and group facilitation. |
She has raised over $5 million in funds and trained leaders of more than 400 organizations in peer-based community-building skills. She has also worked as a consultant with non-profits and government agencies, from small grassroots organizations and county and state governments to the Pan American Health Organization, helping to build community collaboratives, facilitating large community groups and diverse stakeholders, leading strategic planning processes, and building individual and community capacity through leadership development. Ms. Rosenberg is also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has worked as a clinical social worker in hospital- and community-based settings and has maintained a psychotherapy practice for over three decades.
In addition, Ms. Rosenberg is a social entrepreneur who has successfully launched several small businesses and mentored more than 100 small business owners to start and grow their businesses. She is the founder of The SAGE Centers, located in Berkeley, CA, a business incubator and co-working community for people over 50. The SAGE Centers is fulfilling her dream of bringing together talented mature adults to create a new model for ageing well. Ms. Rosenberg is fluent in Spanish.
Most importantly, Judith believes in the capacity of every individual to set and achieve their own goals to benefit themselves, their families and their communities. She sees social enterprise as a leading solution to the incredible economic and social challenges we face as a country and planet.
In her spare time, Judith loves singing, hiking, travelling and making collages. She loves meeting new people and deepening old friendships.
