Nobuko Mizoguchi, Ph.D.
Senior Research Associate - Global Health
Dr. Mizoguchi has extensive experience in international health and demography, designing and managing household surveys, and working closely with culturally diverse communities in developing countries. She has worked as a consultant for WHO and UNFPA in demographic research and as an epidemiologist for the Alameda County Public Health Department, conducting community-based participatory research. Her skill set includes participatory research design, mixed-methods community-based data collection, demographic analysis, statistical capacity building, and conducting interactive, engaged training workshops.
Dr. Mizoguchi earned her Ph.D. in demography, her MPH and MPP in Maternal and Child Health and Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley, and her B.A. in Biology from Oberlin College in Ohio. She has lived all over the United States and in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and currently works with the U.S. Census, serving as a Global Health Sr. Consultant with our team.
